hey guys,
i'm just procrastinating so i decided to write a journal. During finals week i figured that i would put off all my shopping till the weekend before christmas (so i would have time to study and all). I really never realized how BUSY the mall is the weekend before christmas. holyy crap. I was in the parking lot for an HOUR AND A HALF just sitting there, in traffic. haha blahhh. and now i am procrastinating wrapping those presents. I've never understood why you should wrap presents. people are going to look at the wrapping paper for two seconds then rip it off. so what is the point of spending all that time wrapping and all the money for wrapping paper if nobody will appreciate it haha

anyways, between long work hours and busy shopping/preparing everything for christmas, i feel like my break won't be starting till AFTER christmas.. haha

hey guys!
Well, now that exams are over I figured I'd have more time and energy to work on some art. Everything's fine, I just couldn't get excited about art anymore, it was a really depressing feeling since art is something I've always enjoyed so much! Well, I'm going to gradually post some of my old stuff that was on here and also some of the new. I can't promise a new post every week or anything like that. I have to kinda get back into it all. Thanks for those of you who showed your concern

i was getting really sick of seeing my old journal so I'm gonna make a new one

soooo I'm working on about 4 things right now which is why i haven't posted in a while.

I'm doing a commission for my ex boyfriend's brother. which is of his nephew, who is adorable. so that's taking a lot of time since pencil portraits take about 30 hours.. BLAH

haha and then I'm working on a picture about girls and how they are so self conscious all the time. that's in colored pencil on colored paper. so that one's probably going to be the first to go up since it's almost done.

then i have a painting of a fairy which is A3 so it's just huge compared to what i usually do . that one is taking a little longer than i thought it would.. i have it sketched and thats about it.

and finally i have a bunch of life drawing pictures I'm working on which I'm just counting as one cause they each only take about 4 or 5 hours.

sorry for the wait, but my boss has been dumping off all these extra hours on me so I've been working about 40 hours a week, AH.

sooo, this week is insanely stressful with finals and all but it's my last week dammit!
words cannot describe how happy i am to be done with school for the next 4 months
ANYWAYS, I've been thinking about going to some art college (probably CCS) and realized that I need more still lifes/drawings from real models instead of pictures. soo I'll be pretty busy this summer.. hopefully i will post something new ever week or so. well, thats my goal at least.
either way, i won't be as busy as i was during the school year so I'll definitely work on posting more often.
